This consultation will bring together key experts, service providers, adolescents and young people who might benefit from PrEP to consider the range of clinical and operational issues required to implement PrEP among sexually active older adolescents (15-19) in target population groups. The primary focus will be to provide an adolescent-focused perspective towards the on-going development of further guidance on PrEP use by WHO. Objectives: • Share current state of evidence on PrEP use and discuss key considerations for the implementation of PrEP among older adolescents as input into the 2016 updated WHO guidelines on PrEP • Identification of adolescents who could benefit from PrEP • Discuss potential approaches for enrolling and motivating sexually active older adolescents in targeted population groups to use PrEP using evidence and documented experiences from other initiatives • Identify priority areas for further research • Identify opportunities for advocacy and innovation
